The Friends of Toddington Parish Church is a registered charity which was set up in 1992 to provide grants for restoration and maintenance to St George of England Church, Toddington, Bedfordshire. We run a series of events each year which have enabled us to support the church with grants towards large projects such as the restoration of the tower and replacement of the parapets and smaller projects such as disabled access and the purchase of a new font liner.
In the 29 years we have been in existence we have been able to give grants to the church of over £210,000 and the work still continues. St George of England Church will be 800 years old in 2022 and, like any old building, needs constant TLC. This is where you can come in and help us.
1 You can become a member by filling in the Gift Aid Declaration with Banker’s Order (Barclays) (membership is a minimum of £5 per year).
2 You can gift aid your membership if you are a UK taxpayer so that we can reclaim the tax you have paid on the donation making it more valuable to us.
3 You can come along and support us at our events during the year. Look out for information about these. We look forward to seeing you!
